Got Questions?
1. What is texture paint and how is it different from regular paint?
Texture paint contains added aggregates and minerals that create a tactile, 3D surface effect unlike regular wall paint, which is flat and smooth. It adds depth, character, and a premium visual element to walls, making it perfect for accent areas and design-focused interiors.
2. What types of texture paints do you offer?
Dreamscape offers a curated selection of both Italian textures (like Venetian plaster, liquid metal, suede, and marble effects) and Indian textures (such as stone, brick, trowel patterns, and abstract finishes). Each type is suited to different aesthetics and budgets.
3. What are Italian texture paints, and why are they considered luxury finishes?
Italian texture paints are mineral- or lime-based plasters, often applied with trowels to create timeless and sophisticated effects. Finishes like Venetian plaster, stucco, and travertino mimic the richness of stone and artisanal craftsmanship, giving interiors a luxurious, European-style appeal.
4. How are Indian texture paints different from Italian finishes?
Indian textures often focus on bold patterns, sand finishes, or cement-based textures. They’re great for feature walls, exteriors, and budget-friendly decorative elements. At Dreamscape, we use high-quality Indian products with long-lasting performance.
5. Where can texture paint be applied?
Texture paint can be applied to:
- Living room or bedroom feature walls
- Staircase or hallway backdrops
- Dining areas
- Office reception walls
- Pillars and columns
6. How long does it take to apply texture paint?
Most texture paint applications take 1 to 3 days, depending on surface size, pattern complexity, and drying conditions. Italian finishes may take slightly longer due to multiple layering steps.
7. Are texture paints durable and washable?
Yes. Most of our texture paints are water-repellent, anti-fungal, and washable. We also apply a clear protective coat where required, especially in high-traffic or humid zones.
8. Do you follow brand specifications during texture application?
Absolutely. We use manufacturer-approved tools, primers, and finishing coats, and apply textures using recommended trowels, blades, and rollers to ensure consistency and longevity.
9. Can texture paint be customized in color and style?
Yes! We can match any color palette and offer custom textures, tone layering, metallic accents, or combined wall techniques based on your interior theme.
10. Is texture paint suitable for exterior surfaces too?
Many texture finishes are exterior-grade and UV-resistant. We recommend specific exterior texture products based on climate, surface type, and long-term durability.
